Let's look at Statement #1 first.

It's true because most supplements are very poor quality.

Poor quality supplements aren't really used by your body and are passed out in the normal waste channels.

An example of poor quality is ascorbic acid.

The FDA allows ascorbic acid to be called Vitamin C, when it's only a small part of Vitamin C.

Vitamin C is a complex, which signifies it's more than one part.

A lot of ascorbic acid is corn starch treated with sulfuric acid - sounds yummy...

Very cheap to make, and your body thinks it's cheap too.

Whole Vitamin C complex comes from real plants, and isn't cheap. Just go to the produce section at your local store. Take those fruits and vegetables and reduce them down to a concentrated whole vitamin, and you can figure out why real vitamins are not cheap.

Which leads us to Statement #2.

Real nutritional supplements can improve your health.

Real nutritional supplements are derived from plants and animals (fish are animals - think omega-3's).

Cheap supplements are some form of rock dust, acid washed material, or processed sewer sledge (yes, a lot of B-vitamins are made from this sludge...)

Your body will actually use real nutritional supplements to function at a higher level and fight off disease.

Research has proven that real nutrients will improve health.

This blog has many pages dedicated to showing you the benefits of real high quality nutritional supplements. Dig into it for yourself.
